Paula Barbarito Levitt

Paula hails from an Italian food and wine background. The author of the popular food and travel blog La Bella Sorella, Paula’s training in regional Italian cuisine has been shared passionately with friends, family and students over the years. As a dual citizen of the United States and Italy, she has explored every region on the peninsula to experience Italy's history, culture, food and wine.  

Paula is the heart and soul of Girasole, focusing on building and maintaining successful and meaningful  relationships with producers and clients alike, organizing educational events and seizing any opportunity to teach the consumer about the indigenous Italian varietals.

Marc E. Levitt

Marc’s impressive career in high tech and finance provide an excellent background to serve as the guiding force for Girasole Imports.  

His experience in international business, along with extensive knowledge of operations, are indispensable to Girasole’s internal workings.  

Marc’s passion and knowledge of Italian wine grew out of the many family trips to Italy over the years, driving up and down the peninsula untold times, feeding his love affair with the Italian people, food, culture and wine.
